oops
Well, I’ve finally managed to eat a post. I’m not sure how it happened, but as I was trying to post an entry I got disconnected from the internet (not sure how that happened) and after the “cannot find server message” appeared I couldn’t retrieve the post. I stupidly hit the back button and wound up on my home page instead of refresh. Amazing the frustration of typing something you know is ultimately trivial and correcting the spelling and grammar only to see it vanish into nothing. I’m old enough to remember those dreaded orange buttons that used to be on computer keyboards. I feel like I used to when I wiped out a couple hours worth of programming at a single touch of a button. Kind of. Actually, I never did that much programming anyway and most of the time the dreaded orange button was only pressed with malicious glee. Still, I think the time has come to explore Mozilla’s products.
